I look into the puddles
And I see my life reflected,
In the pools that were created by the storm,
And just like the storm I know that my life is temporary,
We are impermanent and that’s for sure,
And one day those pools that reflected our life
Will have dried up and will be no more,
That is how life works and there’s no cure
Because nobody lives forever
Which is just as well because that could never be endured.
