You mean nothing to me

Retribution has never been my way

Do me a bad turn and I won’t trust you again,

Revenge may be a dish best eaten cold

But I would waste my time and I won’t give you that control,

But don’t think because I say this is my way

Don’t think you’ll be forgiven or I don’t think you’re to blame,

It’s just that when you do me wrong, you’ll cease to exist from now on

And don’t think I won’t stick to this because believe me I am strong,

Strong enough to cut those from my life who decided to do me wrong.

    These words are so powerful. I completely agree with the notion of distancing oneself from revenge and instead focusing on one’s well being. Thank you for this.
