The fun that is summer

Summer days

In the heat haze,

We love to frolic

And enjoy to play,

Splashing in water

Clothes all drenched,

Building memories

We’ll remember when,

Winter sets in

And those memories

Will keep us warm,

And keep us dreaming

Of when the next summer dawn’s.

    Desert summers are definitely an experience. You have to get your mind right about them. Good meditation practice. 😎

    Always love other people’s summer feelings and experiences. Mine are more attune to a frozen nordic winter. Hunker down, stay indoors, move as little as possible, and dream of cooler days when I can return to the trails!

      Actually I agree with that too, there’s something cool about winter. I’d love to visit Iceland or the Scandinavian countries. I think you can’t appreciate a good summer or winter without sampling both.
