Here’s a message for the misfits

The ones people call freaks,and weird and punks,

That being somewhat different is not some kind of an affront

And that our uniqueness and individuality is not some kind of perverse stunt,

And it makes us find so much more in life despite taking the brunt,

Of all the ignorant comments and all the many kinds of abuse

Because we are seen as somewhat different they’re somewhat confused,

But just because they do not understand, we must not change

Because they are close minded we don’t have to be the same,

It’s the ones that are seen as different that make a difference in this life

And this is no conspiracy, it’s not something they can deny,

From Einstein, to Stephen Hawkins and many other famous folk

Before they became seen as geniuses they were the butt of many jokes,

But in the end they were respected and held in high esteem

So carry on being you and strive and live out all your dreams.
