A Queen passes
A Prince becomes the King,
The Monarchy continues on
Some pledge allegiance and fealty,
Others are not of that belief
That’s the beauty of democracy,
Where royalty has little effect on me
But I pay my respects as decent people do,
But I remain standing in the queue
I am awaiting to collect my free food,
Because food banks are now essential
For the likes of me and you,
Who work hard and pay our dues
But because some take to much,
Others like us must go without
No amount of kings or Queen’s,
Will ever sort this out for they have no clout
Unlike the filthy rich who hoard out of greed,
Denying equality for you and me.
Very touching!
