He wakes up in the morning

He makes a cup of tea in the kitchen

Moments later his wife walks in,

She has the biggest smile on her face

He looks at her and then grins,

Because she never came home

And he knows what she’s been doing,

She went out for a night out

And she never made it back home

And he knows full well she didn’t spend it alone,

And she will tell him all about it

And she will fill in all the details,

And he won’t take it for granted

Whether it was male or even female,

That she spent the whole night with

And that put that smile upon her face

But he is happy for her seeing how she looks this day,

Satisfied and glowing and happy in everyway

And because of this he feels the same,

He knows that the freedom that she has

Keeps her passion burning like a flame,

And to reassure him she says she’ll always

Stay with him and retain his surname,

Because he is her greatest love

Because he doesn’t get jealous in any way,

And in fact he seems to love her more.
