You’ll never beat the system with hate

For the system is built upon it,

So you may as well confront it with love

Because it struggles to deal with this,

And if you choose to participate in it

Then you are acknowledging that it exists,

You are far better ignoring it

And trying to live outside of this,

Cornucopia of capitalistic ever emerging fascisti

Policies that rule out lives and dash our dreams

In the end it’s not a faith but an ideology,

And that’s such a tenuous thing compared to belief,

That comes from faith which is far deeper rooted

And it’s just as dangerous to you and me,

Because politics and religion have this need to control

Whereas all I want is to help others find their soul,

And share with all harmony, unity, love and peace

It’s there for all of us and it’s within our reach,

Just exit from the system and the games it needs us all to play

Just learn to help each other in a co-operative way,

There’s nothing that it can give you that you can’t give yourself

And is there any true value in materialism and wealth,

When what is far more important is peace of mind and good health

Why bother trying to change a system by yourself,

It is not ever going to change and the only way to bring it down

It is not to participate in its games and then one day it may drown,

In its own isolation and its lack of impact and effect

On the rest of us who have decided it’s best left,

Up to its own devices and without any of our input

The system relies on us, which is something it mistook,

And religion is much the same it relies on devotion

But we don’t need churches, mosques, Imams or priests,

We can pray to our God’s individually

We can do it in our homes, we can do it in the streets,

We don’t need a place of worship or a middleman to convey the words we speak

Because God is omniscient and always within our reach,

So why do I need to listen to somebody preach

For as long as I show kindness, compassion, love, unity and peace,

Then any God in which I believe in will look favourably down on me,

This is not rocket science but it could stop division, hate and war

And instead promote the one thing we should all be fighting for,

A world of love, peace and harmony and better society in which to live

Where everybody’s beliefs and ideologies,

Are respected and allowed to flourish if they help us grow

So deeds of positivity and love are the seeds we need to sow.
