Not everyone can dream

Strolling through life

And creating dreams,

Spending some moments

Imagining colourful themes,

Trying to establish meaningful things

In which I can in some way to contribute,

To bring about some positive change

That will put smiles on people’s faces

No matter their colour, faith or their races,

I just want to do something good in life

Correct the wrongs and make them right,

I just want to live out all my dreams

And that’s about doing wonderful things,

For others and not for me

Because I am not that needy or greedy,

I am no narcissist so it’s not all about me you see

It’s all about helping those others in need,

Who have nothing, not even enough food to eat

And they are so desperate they dare not even dream,

And I can’t even imagine how awful that must be.

  1. I like the final stanza. Despair is a terrible thing.

    1. Thank you very much for reading and for understanding my friend, yes despair is a thing that tears us apart most leaving us feeling there’s no hope at all. 🙏Faux
