There are many sides
All wanting power,
All wanting you
But don’t take sides,
Do what’s right for you
Not what they say,
Or do what they think
To yourself my friend,
You must stay true
If you don’t then you will rue,
That you allowed yourself
To be manipulated and used,
All sides are diseased with corruption
The corruption of power
And it’s potent seduction,
Which will see the fight wars,
To achieve their goals and aims
To place in history, their names,
While standing on the bodies
Of all and each of us
So in yourself you must trust,
Not those others
Absorbed in their power lust.
