Trashed and doubted

My words and thoughts

Are more than often doubted

Or ignored even when I shouted,

So why? you ask do I carry on

Because I know that it’s not wrong,

To ask tough questions

And to make a stand

To raise the concerns of my fellow man,

I don’t just regurgitate words of others

I speak my own words

To help my fellow sisters and brothers,

I believe in the truth

And peoples rights

And this is the ground upon which I fight,

And if you don’t agree then that’s alright

I don’t need your acclaim or even your likes,

Doubt me all you like

And trash how I think,

But if we don’t change soon

Mankind will likely go extinct.
