People lie, then apologise
But they don’t need to and here’s why,
They had the choice to deceive or tell the truth
The fact they chose to lie to me or you,
Means they thought they would not get caught
And now they have they say please forgive me,
The truth is will it really make a difference
Because faced with the same choice once more,
They’ll do it once again of that you can be sure.
