Deep in thought

Do I think too much,

Do I take things

To the extremes,

Should I take

Things as they seem,

At face value

Or over think things,

Is life more simple

Not so complicated,

Is that why

I am so vexed,

It’s hard for me

To be placated,

So my mind

It ends up saturated,

By noisy thoughts

So I must still my mind,

In order that I may

Find peace sometimes,

That’s the problem

With thinking too much,

So I’ve put out a sign

Saying ‘ out to lunch’.
