Because I am compassionate

Apparently that makes me snowflake,

So days the right wing gammon

Who screams at me while all red faced,

I am not politically aligned to either side

And I won’t play their loaded games,

What I want is something different

Not the same old faces, suits and names

That’s why I am fighting for change,

Where people can live in equality

And made to live in poverty and shame,

Where unity, tolerance and peace

Is the new order and life of each day,

Where we all help each other up

Rather than tread on them when down,

If that makes me a snowflake

Then I am deeply moved and proud.
