Under the stars
Nature looks so good,
Under a super moon
I feel my heart bloom,
And as I watch streaks
Of lights across the sky,
I think of the universe
And how I’d like to spy,
The whole spectrum of its wonders
The magic that it is,
And I realise how my existence is a gift
And goosebumps appear,
And my hairs on my body start to prickle
And suddenly I feel so very little,
The insignificance of humanity
Now it seems to resonate with me,
The abundance of everything that I see
Makes me smile and makes me happy,
As I bask in the night sky in all its glory
It reminds me how important it is,
To leave behind memories and a story
Of you life so that you can leave behind,
The essence of your heart and soul light,
Yes I want to leave in my wake
My frequencies as a trace,
And how I once stood here in awe
Of nature and the universe’s state of grace.
