Frosted touch

The crisp white frost covers all

In the sub zero temperatures of the dawn,

There’s a radiant sun rising

But it will take much of the morn,

To eradicate this frost and thaw

And the freeze will carry on much more,

And on this day I must say

The solitude and beauty of this frosty scene,

Really does resonate with me

As I see the steam of my breath as I breathe,

And each intake of breath sears my lungs

But still this is a moment, hard to love,

But wrapped in clothes, scarves and gloves

We can enjoy nature and it’s beauty,

And it’s icy, frosted touch.
