Don’t be there for others out of duty

Be there for others because you want to be,

You don’t have to have all the answers

You just have to be patient and able to listen and see,

Those who are struggling and who are in need,

Not all those who need help make it known

Not all are obvious and do not show,

The burdens that they’re suffering from

They’re proud and yet may feel all alone,

So we must reach out and say it’s alright

We need to be that light on their darkest night.
