Wrong path

I feel and see the wrongness

In this world that belongs to us,

I watch nature chocked to death

I hear the brutality in every breath,

I witness your destructiveness

Within a world of which we were blessed,

But you’re blind to this through ignorance

And you’re scared to give love and peace a chance,

In a world so violent and warlike

You fear being seen as weak,

Yet your actions speak volumes to me

You only follow in the footsteps of brutality

Because you’re so very meek,

Strength is in being not afraid

To stand up and walk the other way,

To depart from this malevolent path

To leave that life of wrongness in the past,

And everyone can choose to do this

But they don’t, they choose to not do it,

They, like lemmings or like zombies just kept marching on

Without real care, feeling or any thinking

And meanwhile humanity is sinking,

But there are many of us who wish to lift it up

But the mindless, selfish and the greedy

They just don’t really give a fuck.
