We are all the same species
We are all the same human beings,
And the only things that make us different
Are the pigmentation of our skins,
And the biological gender imperative
Everything else is just the layers,
Of man’s own thoughts and making
Like political and religious beliefs,
And why shouldn’t people have the right to them
Even if they are different, why can’t we respect them,
Like culture and sexuality that people develop for themselves
Why should we judge and hate them,
Simply because we don’t agree with them as well
And poverty and wealth are of man’s doing,
And just like all the other differences
They are a part of mankind’s ruin,
Anybody who chooses uses these differences
The judge, hate and discriminate is the problem,
We’re all just human beings and respecting each other is the solution,
And accepting people choose different ways to live
Is their right and that is ok and it doesn’t change,
The fact they are still human beings the same as us
So we should be accepting and tolerant each day,
It’s the only way back to unity and peace
But there are a few things in the way,
Like the media and the government’s
Who plays their divide and rule games,
Along with the religious leaders
They use the differences to create hate,
And they rely on ignorance and fearful minds
To enact their policies over mankind’s time,
Always seeking to redact thoughts back to the tribal
Always seeking to make people rivals,
This is how humanity has been sculptured
And augmented by those who grabbed the reins to rule,
And there’s barely been a time when man wasn’t cruel to man
We need to change, we need a better plan,
We need to go back to the basics and understand,
We are all just human beings and we’re allowed to be different
No matter our colour, sex, beliefs, gender or culture,
We must all be given the same level of respect
And judged and treated as equals, none of us are second best,
And if you cannot understand or get this yet
Then you need an intellectual reset,
Because all of these differences are part of the test,
To check whether we are truly worthy of the term human.
