Imagine if we didn’t have to pay for existing on this planet, like other species here. Imagine we all just worked collectively as one race to support ourselves and others within our community. Imagine no all power governments, banks and corporations driving the need for us to work for money, the work and the money that makes them rich, that keeps them in positions of power over us. Do you even remember how they came to be in those positions? Do you recall how they built the systems up that we currently struggle to survive under? Do you recall agreeing to be the fodder for the workhouses of life or a target for the gun as a soldier protecting our boarders while invading others? Imagine a world not so divided, where people are not taught by the few to hate others based on colour, sex, gender or faith, where we all accept each other for who and what we are without judgement. Can you imagine how much less stressful life would be, cleansing the soul impurities of hate, greed, envy and thoughts that are discriminatory. Imagine working as a global community to ensure there is enough food for all to eat equally, where we all share openly new discovered technologies freely. Imagine we could change our nature that is ingrained in us since birth, for the need to fight, exploit, use and abuse are not traits we are born with, we learn hate, greed and envy, we are taught to discriminate, to steal, too kill and to act with such inhumanity. Image we could change, imagine the hope, the dream, the better lives we would lead. This is my vision of mankind, my dream, my philosophy to change our societies from the ones we see now that promotes brutalities and divides and denies us any real equality except for them to get wealthy, more powerful and prosper, as we get poorer, and deeper into poverty, weaker, meeker, objects of others exploitation, slaves to the system, working and paying to survive on a planet that gives resources and the chance to exist freely.
Imagine this…

My philosophy of life, practically. Idealism, with a little more than a touch of naivity.
Unfortunately, as Yetismith above pointed out the human race is deeply flawed, and therefore we have no chance of getting to that point of living in peace, harmony, truth and freedom all together on this planet. And I so wish I was wrong…!

Maybe it’s because we believe so little in our fellow man and constantly believe we are wrong that nothing changes. Those who brutalise life, our earth and people on it never believe themselves or what they do to be wrong. Maybe we have to keep challenging that and start believing all things are possible and trying to inspire others through this way of acting. Oh I did believe in people back in the day, helped everybody every way I could without asking for even a ‘thank you’. It worked for a while, with some, but generally people just went away once the job was done, and never heard from them again. Such is the human.
Those in charge, at the higher quarters, have their own agenda and don’t give a flying funk on ordinary people like me, like us – if I may say so. Money rules, life (human included) is absolutely expendable anytime, anywhere. There is no repsect, there is no true love “up there”. How could the human kind evolve to enlightenment with such dark characters at the buttons? How can a car drive with the emergency brake on…?
We are not heard. And if we’re heard soon we’re never heard from again. That’s how these things work, and always have. Dang, I need another planet. Too bad for this one, it was nice before the genetic experiment.

A wonderfully truthful response highlighting the truth of the world and people of today’s age. A 2minute attention span and obsessed with materialism and wealth while ignoring the corruption and control exerted over the rest of us from above. Our illusionary dreams of wealth are the 1% reality and they are going to share it with us at any cost. I wish the 1% would find another planet and take their followers with them. Then we can heal and repair this one, because there is still time, but not with them in charge. ๐ Faux

Madonna (in ‘Material girl’) used to say it loud and clear: “we live in a material world”. That was back in the mid 80s. It only escalated since then. The spiritual society that once was – somewhere in Europe, Greece anyone…? – has decayed into this obsession for material wealth. I believe it was an intended move. Ah, too complicated topic.
On an ethical level it would be the right thing to do for the good among us to stay and fix the planet – if at all fixable – because it’s us who ruined it albeit at the command of those 1%. But after all the daily work routine year after year, are we capable of doing that extra work anymore? Shouldn’t those soulless 1% creatures work for once in their lives to fix what they made us do wrong, and let the rest of us breathe for a change while we’re still alive? Just sayin’…

I have the same vision but there is a flaw in the human make-up, sadly.
