Wisdom is about learning from the past and leaving it there, it’s about preparing for the future without sacrificing the present and in wisdom we realise we are rooted in the here and now and so that’s our most important time so we must not waste it on distractions.

I like this and one definitely require wisdom. Sadly, most do not know the past relating to history of ancestors to learn from us. Perhaps if they (we) did, things would perhaps be different instead of being repeated.
