Remembering a good man gone

I remember those busy hands

Was amazed by that dazzling mind,

And the sparkle in his eyes

Now at rest the hands are still,

The mind is now at peace

And those dazzling eyes now sleep,

Yet the memory of him continues on,

The love he exuded remains

Within the hearts of all he touched,

The kindness he showed will linger on

Even though we feel he’s gone,

Yet he’s not, he’s always here

Just remember a fond time,

And you’ll always sense him near.
