That we live in

We elect brutal men,

We believe the media

And the lies they’re promoting,

Our societies are the rat race

And we can decide to opt out

And decide not to play,

Cut your attachment to the TV

Which is their means of control,

Stop buying into the belief

That material things make you happy,

If you don’t start doing this my friend

Then you’ll find then from the nappy,

Right up until the time you die

Your life will not be your own,

But to do this it means stepping out

Of your fucking comfort zone.
