Calibrated life

Have you been raised and calibrated to fit into life

To swallow the poison that I call the lies,

That makes us conform and abide by life and its norms,

Or are you the undercurrent of individual authentic thought

That looks to inspire and whip up a storm,

To shake others out of their calibrated and conditioned forms.

    This puts me in mind of one of Buk’s poems. “…Some lose all mind and become soul,insane.
    some lose all soul and become mind, intellectual.
    some lose both and become accepted”
