I’ve never understood

Why do those who pollute,

Think it’s acceptable

To put their rubbish in rivers,

I’ve never understood

How any neighborhood,

Would be happy living life

With rubbish everywhere in their streets,

Surely they wouldn’t like their homes like this

So why do we let this problem exist,

I am confused as to why it happens

And why it continues to carry on.
