Is it about distraction?

The drive to know the flaws of others

Seems a priority to some in life,

Who may be flawed in other ways

Maybe they’d better focusing on themselves instead,

People do wrong and need understanding

Maybe if we offered more help to those who are tempted to do wrong,

Then maybe they’d take it and avoid the consequences

If we offered more education and less moral judgement,

Then maybe less people would suffer at their hands

But we seem solely to wait until the wrong is done,

Before doing anything and then coming on strong,

With the moral, ethical and holier than thou attitude

And demanding to know who these people are so we can condemn them,

Despite the fact nobody is perfect

Is it just about the chance for these people to feel good,

About the way they live their own lives

I wonder what it is that they are trying to hide.

That
