We are a part of the same body, called humanity, we are one organism being attacked by a virus that also calls itself the same but instead of existing as one organism it wants to divide it, so by making it weaker and more prone to manipulation and less effective in being able to defend itself. The virus then controls the large powerful organism and reduces it to a weaker much more vulnerable entity that eventually relies on the virus to survive. The same virus that is hell bent on destroying it.
