Life doesn’t have to be lived on the edge

You don’t have to seek a thrill by being perched on a ledge,

The thought that we are all one day going to die

Should be enough to motivate us to new highs,

To find different ways to be and live happy

By believing that you can succeed,

By being real and true to yourself and existing authentically

And the answers that you seek are within,

Within the truth that you’re harbouring

Mine is to be at peace and be caring and loving,

And for others to also feel this way

Enough so it brings about massive change,

So that people view life in a different way,

Drifting gradually from toxicity, envy and hate

To a far more wholesome and positive place,

This would be a legacy I would truly take

Over becoming wealthy by being on the make,

I want something more that feels real

Not the shallow hollow lifestyle’s, that just not appeal,

So I keep living life for the caring feels

Of raising others up that’s my deal.
