No honour

Where is the honour in living life today

It seems it’s all been left in a bygone age,

Ethics, morals and principles have gone away

And been substituted and somehow replaced,

With a sense of ignorance and privilege

Where we stand and film others in trouble without getting involved,

Or committing some wrong and being caught,

And not accepting the blame and doing the right thing

And we all seem to be immune to others pain and suffering,

Everything has become a joke or is something to be ridiculed

And when that happens from those who create and lead societies,

It’s no wonder it’s repeated to others who see and believe,

That it’s ok to act and be this way

But honestly this is no way to truly behave,

Where’s the self respect and honour in yourself

Why is it ok now to keep your morals and ethics upon a shelf,

To be seen but not to be used but simply abused

Where corruption and discrimination is used by fools,

And heralded as a magnificent trait that gets you voted in again

It’s like as humanity we have gone insane.
