Nothing comes easy

We fight every day,

Nothing is worth having

When handed to you on a plate,

It usually comes with conditions

That does not benefit us,

But when we fight for something

With passion, desire and love,

We find that it’s more fulfilling

And that means much more,

And there is so much out there

That is worth fighting for,

Like our environment and peace

And ending destructive fucking wars,

As well as fighting for equality

There’s always a noble cause,

That can promote our sense of well-being

And boost our spiritual ways,

In such a narcissistic society

The subverts are the brave,

Fighting for humanity

And all that we know is right,

And standing up for our ecology

So that our future will be bright,

All of these causes are worth the struggle

So what are you waiting for,

The rich they take the lions share

And share nothing with the poor,

The systems are the problems

And greed and power is the cause,

But we don’t have to comply

Or follow like we are sheep

With, what we know is wrong,

We can write our own stories

We can all sing our own songs.
