Do people care about people

Because they really do care,

Or is it a means to an end

Of which we should all be aware,

Is it for them about coercion

And is it all about control,

Is it trying to show others

That they have a good soul,

I have met some of these people

And real empathy they lack,

Peel off the veneer and you see the cracks,

It’s about making themselves feel

As though they’re actually good,

Yet they carry out neferious acts

While making it out as if it’s

For the other peoples good,

But actually they are doing what nobody should.
