Here are rich and powerful playing games

Telling us the establishment should be slain,

Stirring up the gullible people through fear

But I will tell you one thing that is clear,

Anybody fighting to gain more power and wealth

Can’t be trusted because they use the politics of stealth,

These rich people who are pumping out lies

Don’t or haven’t shown any sign they’ll enrich our lives,

They lie about climate change of which they deny

But that’s only because they got their fingers in the dirty fuel pie,

They highlight and speak of corruption but they are at it

I am sick of hearing about the migration opposition habit,

Where they demonise migrants and fill us with fear

Migration is bad is all I hear,

Until you see them in care homes and hospitals saving lives

Working in the fields picking food when it’s right,

Doing the menial jobs that need to be done,

That we won’t do so that’s why I am done,

These same powerful people backing wars and guns

Taking payments from the arms trade each and everyone,

They’ve also got share in them so guns and wars make them rich

It’s the poor and working class soldier bodies laying in a ditch,

Wars are not something that the wealthy now fight

Being at the head on the front lines,

Leading the charge is something left behind in time

Now they couldn’t be further from where people die,

They create faux conspiracy theories to confuse the truth

The real conspiracy theories are rooted in proof,

That all those with power money and fame

Don’t give a shit about us below them as we are pawns in their game

So don’t get confused or sucked in by their lies which are plain,

And when they say they fight for us then they should be ashamed

Because they only fight for more power, money and fame,

According to them they are the only ones not to blame

For the state of societies and for the wargames,

That sees the innocent bodies and their blood washing down the drains.
