Protesting must be kept alive
Though the government does not like it,
The people telling them what they want
But why should we care just what they think,
We have the right to freedom of speech
As well as the right to be seen,
Unless it’s based and rooted in violence
Which we know is the way of the police
When they infiltrate to cause a riot,
But it’s essential we make a noise
And don’t be made to be silent and quiet,
Protest, protest when rights and people are oppressed
When wrongful laws fail to impress,
Protest is what can cause change
No silent passive acts through being afraid.
