Christmas heartbreak

It’s Christmas time,

But some go without

No presents are about

Parents feeling bad

Children with faces sad,

To much hardship

And not enough cash,

Food bank handouts

No turkey or stuffing here

No fun, no joy, no cheer,

It breaks my heart always

But especially at this time of year.

    I raised my 5 and now got 3 more. 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Plus my last child. We thought we were finally done. Life is still calling us to do a good deed. Christmas was hard but we made it happen.
