In the wake of change

Do you feel a slave to the system

A slave to the establishment and debt,

Do you feel controlled and explored

Well this is a state we’re told to accept as normal,

Rebel against this normal and you’ll be labelled

Not as an independent, free thinking individual,

But as a subvert, freak or terrorist

Not because you’re doing anything wrong,

But because you’re liiving contrary to the norm

And that may just whip up a collective storm,

Encouraging the breaking of the conditioning

Instilled and inbred in you since you were born,

Which worries them that their houses that they built

From pieces of paper that we call money,

May suddenly collapse around their ears

Which is of course is their worst fear

And cause these corrupt types to shed a sea of tears,

They will get angry that we no longer adhere,

To their archaic and crumbling, failing states

Opting for something better that we choose to create,

Leaving all their bigotry, greed and hate in its wake.

  1. So under those conditions, how might I vote next year? what issues should drive me to do so?

    1. I’d never presume to tell people what to do or who to vote for, that’s between you and your conscience my friend 🙏 Faux
