Retailers don’t care about anything but profit

Even though they say they keep customers in mind,

If that was the case they wouldn’t increase prices all the time,

And offer stupid deals that aren’t bargains, to confuse people’s minds,

They sell us cheap products full of sugars and salts

And the organic super foods of which we may have sought,

Are priced way beyond any working class budget

But they tell you it’s ok because of their own brands you will love it,

And it seems that poorer people have no real choice

Neither do they or have ever had any real voice,

We get what we’re given and that’s all there is to it

Eat this shit or starve to death, you can take this or leave this, is what they say.
