Why do they spend so much on missiles and weapons
When it would be better spent on health and those in poverty,
Why spend so much of our money on destruction
Instead of a better social construction to help people better function,
Is it to ensure they maintain control to stop any uprising
Is it us they fear, that we may demand change which is not surprising,
The truth and reality is we don’t need missiles and weapons to exist
But we do have a right to equally live in a world where war desists.
