What’s gone wrong with democracy, it’s not diversity and multiculturalism as some would lead you to believe but those who have taken control. The billionaires who feather their nests, promising you could be like them, while laughing at you for believing that. They keep some comfortable as an enticement but when the comfortable seek more those in control raise interest rates, introduce, stealth taxes, recessions and financial crises that never seem to impact on them. The rest they keep poor and send those gullible enough to fight and die in the billionaires wars which enrich the arms trade of which they are shareholders in. The billionaires put corporations before people, put profit and loss before health care. You want to know what’s corrupting our democracies? It’s the billionaires playing games of power without consequence to them but that ruins peoples lives and which they then blame on those people who are in the same boat as you but who are of different colour, faith, sex, gender or nationality.
