The world is on the brink
Of another fucking war,
Those in power will not fight
Who will suffer, will be the poor,
Arms dealers and oligarchs
Will get rich from all the deaths,
War is a failure of governments
They did not do their best,
Ensuring millions of innocents
Will be brutally laid to rest.
“When will they ever learn?” This is a question that comes up often when people repeat the same mistakes. However, we have the power to learn from our experiences and make necessary changes. Let’s take charge and move forward with confidence, knowing that we can learn and grow from our past missteps.🕊️
Amen. It makes me think of the haunting song “Where Have All The Flowers Gone?” I still can’t listen to it without tearing up.
