A cacophony of explosions

As missiles and bombs hit the ground

And if you listen very carefully

You can hear the suffering sounds,

Of the victims who are often innocent

Die without ever being the threat,

This is the shame of war robbing the last breaths

Of women and their children and babies,

Who are not armed soldiers or participants,

But to those who fire missiles, drop bombs and use drones they see no difference,

They clearly just follow orders and have no empathy, decency or common sense,

To understand that what they do is a crime of which there is no defence.
