Attitudes change in different ways

We never expected much back in the day,

But now expectations seem a lot higher

Kind of like a privileged attitude about all things,

Like not feeling that much had to be put in now

To get more out, there’s more taking things for granted,

Trouble is when you get more without any effort

When times get hard people get more distressed,

They cannot understand why they should have to struggle

And why they needed to give their very best,

Because as a change in generation they simply always expect,

For things to be given to them without protest.
