We’ve left this world within the hands of those who exploit corrupt and destroy it

We’ve given them the power now and we should now say we will withdraw this,

Because they do not work for the good of power but just for the good of profit

And it’s not working well for the majority of us and we can no longer ignore it,

Meanwhile the oligarchs get richer whilst the rest of us get poorer

And they’re exempt from breaking laws while we get the full force of their law and order,

It’s no longer acceptable to have to live in a world like this

Time and time they make us pay for their mistakes which really takes the piss,

And if they one day destroyed the world by pushing the nuclear risk

They’ll all hide in their bunkers as we fry to a crisp,

And when it is all over they’d crawl out to survey what’s left

I am telling you beyond any doubt they start it all again,

Doing nothing different because these people of power are insane,

And they don’t care for future generations because most of them are so old in age

And what I cannot understand is why this does not fill more people with more rage,

Tight up to the point where we all take to the streets and finally demand real change.
