Mental health destruction

Is a social construction,

From bullying in schools

To the workplace due to production,

Pressure by your peer groups

And your bosses and your government,

Stress through you earnings

And through the healthcare you receive,

Anxiety we suffer from as a result of what we see

On social fucking media or on our TV screens,

The fear of missing out or not being good enough

People living on fast food junk,

Or some of us surviving through food banks

Social services judging parents well beyond the norm,

Taking peoples kids from them

The trauma there is often born,

School demanding more from kids

To justify what they do,

And if you fail and don’t get good grades

You’re made to feel like an undereducated fool,

And the doctors prescribing many drugs

Which they say will mitigate this and help you,

Often poison your system along with your brain,

We’ve lost the sense of community

And we now struggle to connect and help each other,

In a dystopian world governed by big brother.
