The relief that comes from being told
That death may not yet be stalking you,
Is palpable and that’s the truth, of this I know
But it still caused my mind to blow,
And leaves you shaken as the time unknown
Can seem prolonged until the illness is shown,
To be lesser than what was at first told
I am just happier now that the truth is known.
