There were Princes, warriors, Queens and Kings
That travelled the silk roads which were beckoning,
To all with tales of silks, satin materials and spices
And all travelled there in hope to fill their pockets with gold,
It was a glamorous undertaking exploring the silk route
A life full of wonder and adventures in truth,
And the people from all over the globe would meet
To buy and trade in materials, to offer others back home real treats,
Exotic and never before ever witnessed or seen
And still people who never travelled to the route fail to believe,
But it was amazing and like living a wonderful dream.
