Fear and greed have taken over

From bravery and need,

Now we have cowards ruling

Stealing our money so we aren’t free,

Tied to the workplace in slavery

Making oligarchies more wealthy,

And when you try to break out

They instill within your self-doubt,

Until you’re not sure what any things about

Then they teach you fear of others,

And how they want all you’ve got

Which is very little because oligarchs took the lot,

And anything left the government takes

No matter if they are right or left,

They all feed from the same trough

Until you realise that they lied,

In your deathbed unfortunately before you die

When it’s too late to realise and you’ve no more tears left to cry.
