Time to step up

And find your kindness,

Time to put aside our differences

And start to be united,

As if we are twin spirits

Connected as one soul,

We are all just one race

A family that is not whole,

But should be and could be again

We need to do this in humanities name,

And cast aside all of the shame

Caused by fear, hate and ignorance,

It’s time to rewrite our stories

And get back in touch with our intelligence.
