I view myself as spiritual

Leaning towards Buddha,

Politically vacant

Of a collectivist mind,

Politics and religion

Are the causes of all wars,

So I tend to reject it all

As I strive for peace

And chant fight war not wars,

Extremism if the disease of times

As politics and religions try to control our minds,

Instill in people hatred of various kinds

Brainwashing us into thinking their ways,

Getting them to kill and die

You can see this every day,

Well I am not buying into this follow my lead

When you do and as you die they won’t be seen,

They wind you and send you out

Full hate, anger and a willingness to kill,

Well I won’t buy into that, it’s full of ills,

I prefer, to be honest peace, love and light

I want absolutely nothing to do with your fight,

Other than just save those who are innocent

From ending up the victims of those indecent,

Enough to kid you into believing the lie

That politics and religion is a good reason,

To sacrifice your life and so  you die.
