Why I speak out

I speak the truth

I speak aloud,

I am made to feel

That this is not allowed,

I share the fight

For people’s rights,

And I am told that it is wrong

But I know that I must just stay strong,

Because it’s only wrong

In the eyes of those who lie,

Or want to quieten you

While the innocent and poor people die,

And this is simply why I fight

For everyone to be able to exercise their rights.

One response to “Why I speak out”

  1. It’s not wrong, keep it up. We won’t change anything by being silent.
