Capitalism loves to see you crawl

They get off on it and the drool,

Who are they, they’re the elites

The corporate bosses who keep us weak,

By denying the wealth producers their worth

By making us put in long hours of work,

Just to be able to pay the bills and feed ourselves,

While they can fat on the profits that we create

Meanwhile the enjoy luxury holiday breaks,

While we get up early every morning

And we don’t get home until late,

And day by day it’s a struggle not to let your spirit break

And your body ages quicker and you ache,

Meanwhile billionaires live to long age,

Because they don’t have to put the labour in

They simply find new ways of manipulating,

More people to work and make profits from them,

While not getting a fair return back

And if you try it speak out about it, then you’re like to be sacked,

And this how capitalism works

The trickle down theory and worse,

It’s the principle of abusing the poor

And if it don’t work then enlist them and send them off to war.
