Data centres will eviscerate the earth if left unregulated and unchecked. Unless they design these planet killers to operate using less resources the price for AI will be to high and will cost humanity to much. Data centers are at the end the end of the day just money generating cash cows to increase the wealth of the elite tech bros. The could careless about you, me or the planet and possess this inane, insane ideology that one day they will find a planet fall paradise somewhere else in the universe and leave us in the mire of a resourceless rock unable to maintain any kind of living standards and again the elites absolutely will not care. What options therefore do we have? It’s simple, stop the building of data centres, understand that AI has limits, due to this and learn to become intelligent enough to write your own stuff, to use your imagination to create your own stories, rather than depending on AI to do this for you.
